HEAT family, meet Marissa! Marissa has turned her views about working out around completely after joining HEAT. She has gone from thinking of workouts as "a chore" to LOVING her 45-60 minutes a day spent doing it! Don't just take our word for it, read it from Marissa herself...


"Working out used to feel like a chore. Left to my own devices, I found myself bored and my mind wandering. Enter Bootcamp. I wasn't sure what to expect, but after my first class I was hooked. It was incredibly challenging physically, but the main benefit for me was that my mind finally stopped wandering while I worked out. I am a doctoral student at the University of Texas, and the break from thinking about work and school is much needed.

The coaches really make the experience for me - each one brings something different to the workout, and keeps it fresh, challenging, and, dare I say it, actually fun. All I have to do is show up and try my best (which trust me, looks different every day), and the coaches do the rest - so I get to really enjoy (read: hate/love) my workout. Some days the struggle is real, but I always feel better after a camp. I definitely encourage everyone to try this workout, and to try different coaches to experience the range of expertise and styles they offer."
