Hello HEAT familia! Dr. Maria here with your workout of the week. This workout is a little throwback to my military days. You'll love the simplicity of this workout, but you'll hate how much it will hurt!! Enjoy :)


How to: 
This workout consists of 3 exercises: Pull-ups x1, Push-ups x2, Sit-ups x3. 

Finish the pyramid all the way up and down. For every number on the pyramid you do the corresponding number of reps of each exercise. Example: round 1: 1 pull-up, 2 push-ups, 3 sit-ups; round 2: 2 pull-ups, 4 push-ups, 6 sit-ups. All the way up to 6.

Make notes on how fast and how many rounds you are able to do without a significant break. If you make it all the way up the pyramid, you start taking it down the pyramid.

Warm-up: Make sure you get a good warm-up in before this workout. A little 5 min run followed by some inchworms, plank swimmers, shoulder rotations, and downdogs should do the trick.
