Camp Coach | Personal Trainer
I am an Austinite, growing up heavily involved in multiple sports and playing at the club and national level in soccer and volleyball. I was on the state and also regional ODP (Olympic Developmental Team) for soccer through middle and high school.
While attending Texas State University I worked at Pure Austin Fitness, obtained my Group Exercise Certification through AFFA and began teaching barbell and HIIT style classes. I then became a CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) in 2009 and have been part of the Austin fitness community ever since. I led my first international fitness retreat in 2016 and now conduct multiple retreats yearly with my company Train Local Sweat Global. My experience varies from group fitness classes, bootcamp, Crossfit, yoga, rowing, and nutrition. I hold certifications with NASM -CPT, NFPT-CPT, AFFA-Group Exercise, Crossfit - level 1, 200-RYT, Precision Nutrition - Level 1.
I had my son Caleb in 2010. He is the biggest joy, love, and motivation in my life. Health and fitness have always been a huge part of who I am and being a healthy example of what the means for Caleb keeps me striving to be better. My training philosophy is rooted in that there is no one routine that works for everyone. Everyone's body and goals are different and I love being able to bring the variety of my experience to develop the perfect program for my clients needs. I look forward to working with you!
