Professional Assessment -- HIT CENTER AUSTIN

When I asked, "Would you like a body assessment?" I was not sharing a pickup line. (HA HA!)

I am offering you a unique opportunity to have a professional assessment that measures your body fat, Vo2 max, strength and endurance capabilities.  The facility is absolutely amazing and is where many pro athletes train.

As a personal trainer, I am truly limited in how accurate my testing measures can be. (YES, I ADMIT IT!) And, to be honest, no trainer can give you a true measurements using calibers and a scale.  So, to give you the best, we have teamed up with the HIT CENTER OF AUSTIN to provide you with an assessment that most trainers only dream of. Normally, the cost is $100+, but for HEAT members, it is only $25. The test is something that myself and the HIT center put together, based on what I thought would be relative to you. This is not a generic test, nor do I receive any cash for you going ... IT'S ALL ABOUT YOU. Call the HIT CENTER and schedule an appointment. You'll need to call before Nov. 1, although you can schedule your appointment anytime from now until Dec. 20.

Saturday, Oct. 24, Workout -- Water Polo Kayak

Ok gang ... this might be the final splash we will get this season before it gets too cold. I hope you will all come join us for a day on the lake playing HEAT's version of water polo!  

Also, bring a change of clothes and a towel as we will have a HEAT social -- to be held at Zocalo Cafe on West Lynn and 10th --immediatly following boot camp.

Camp Location: Texas Rowing Center

Time: 8:45 a.m.

To bring: Yo' self and change of clothes

Time: 8:55 a.m. -- please do NOT arrive late

To bring: towel, water, shoes (or barefoot ... we'll be playing in the sand)

50 Box jumps or air squats

50 Regular Pullups or Jump Pullups

50 KB Swing

50 yards of walking lunges

50 floor elbow to knee crunches

50 overhead DB press

50 Lower back ext with Barbell or Db

50 Wall Ball throws (max 10lbs)

50 Burpees

5 min of Jump rope
