
Segue (Seg-way) - To move smoothly and unhesitatingly from one state, condition, situation, or element to another: "To move from healthy to unhealthy." My list of when it's OK to ride the "platform of laziness", as I like to call it, is a short one. However, I love the tag "exercise more."
Today will be your first Movement Assignment! This weekend, expect amazing weather and lots of OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES! The task is simple ... Find something to do outside or recreational for at least 30 minutes on Saturday or Sunday. I'm even going to help you out with a few suggestions:
- Walk/jog /run Town Lake. (Bring a pet.)
- Take a hike up to Mount Bonnell or through the Greenbelt.
- Ride your bike somewhere and back.
- Tennis anyone?
- Go downtown and run alongside those riding segways. (Cody's Pick!)
However, if you want something more creative, find a space at an outdoor track, park, playground, or even a small area by the lake. It's always fun to throw 4-5 exercises together using the elements of nature ... Who knows, you may even teach a passerby something new.
