A big congrats to Kent Smith, Kathleen Parker, and HEAT coach extraordinaire, Tanya Tudor, for their amazing performances at this years Austin's Fittest Games! Kent Smith and Kathleen Parker each took first in their respective divisions (Men's 60's and Women's 50's) and Tanya and the Badass Ladies of Atomic became the first All-Female team to win overall.

HEAT Bootcamp will host a community workout benefiting Anthropos Arts. The workout will be open to all and donation based. 100% of the proceeds to Anthropos Arts as they gear up for Amplify Austin. Saturday Feb. 20th, HEAT Bootcamp put on a community workout benefiting Anthropos Arts. Abbreviated, 25 minute, workouts were put together and HEAT opened their doors to everyone, non-members and all. Everyone was asked to give a donation to Anthropos Arts. This let them take as many workouts as they liked that day. Anthropos Arts received over $1,200 in donations.
Rhythm Superfoods, Live Soda, High Brew Coffee, Oatmega, and Epic all sponsored the event.

Austin Fit Magazine hosts AFM Fittest competition each summer. Member Kent Smith won for the second year in a row and was featured in the August edition of the magazine.

Coach Sarah Enouen was a special guest on Studio 512. Studio 512 airs weekdays, and shows what Central Texas has to offer. HEAT bootcamp was invited to talk about effective ways to burn fat.
Paddleboarders travel 21 miles on Lake Austin to raise money for the Flatwater Foundation. This organization provided counseling and mental health services to those dealing with cancer in their family.
"It's really been fun to watch the event grow. People are hearing the word, hearing the message that mental health is important. Each year we try to get more and more people involved, and with that, the organization gets a little bit larger; we're able to provide more care to more families,” Flatwater Foundation founder Mark Garza said.
