Maria Gazin

Personal Trainer

My first love was yoga. I began practicing with my mom in our living room every day and night when I was twelve years old. It taught me the power of movement and meditation and planted the seed for what would become a true passion for physical and mental health.

When I moved to Austin in 2009, I began my fitness journey. I started kickboxing and absolutely fell in love! Not only did I fall in love with the workouts but also with the sense of pride and strength, both physical and mental, that accompanied them. I ventured out to try as many different types of fitness and learn as much about health and well-being as I could.

I finally bit the bullet, quit my service industry job and obtained my Personal Trainer certification in 2017. I later earned my certification as a corrective exercise specialist in 2019. I am also graduating from ACC in May of 2021 and from there I plan on attending Texas State University to finish my bachelor of science degree in Biology. I have learned so incredibly much over the past four years.

I have built and maintained amazing relationships with my clients, all of whom have been training with me for over two years. I train functionally and individually, I educate accordingly and I always stay positive, while keeping it real. I admittedly promote optimal physical and mental health, and I believe “optimal” is different for everybody and can change from day to day. To me, it’s all about balance and a truly healthy lifestyle.
