ACSM Personal Trainer | Precision Nutrition Health Coach | Girls Gone Strong Pre and Post Natal Coach

I got inspired to try fitness classes as a teenager — we're talking BodyPump and Zumba. There was something about the classes and the energy that was so cool to me! I learned about confidence and found out how strong I was, which was something I hadn't found in my athletic experiences. Throughout college I gravitated towards learning about fitness and found strong women who inspired me. This led me to becoming a trainer in 2018 and since then, I've taught all kinds of strength training classes and even kickboxing.

I focus on teaching my clients how to eat and move well to increase and maintain bone and muscle mass while aging. It's key to decrease risk of chronic disease and keep you feeling good for all your years to come. I especially enjoy working with pregnant and postpartum women. This is such a special part of life, but oftentimes women get less attention than they need during this time. Overall, I aim to teach people how to implement simple, healthy habits. I get fired up about all the conflicting fitness and nutrition clickbait out there — I just want to help people sort through the BS and find a routine that improves their life!

It's been a real joy to see my clients achieve things they told me they could not do or that they were afraid of trying. Moments like this keep me waking up at 5:45 a.m.

Outside of work, exercise is still something I truly enjoy. I tend to switch it up every few months so I've tried tons of classes, but I always come back to strength training. I also like to do DIY projects like: decorating my home, hanging out with my cats, dancing, and baking anything with chocolate in it. When I get the chance, I love to travel. One thing I’ve never done is snowboarding, but can’t wait to try!
